How to Make Your Animal Bracelets Glow in The Dark… In Less than 3 minutes

So you have yourself a pack of glow in the dark animal bracelets and you want to learn how to make them glow on demand. In case you’re reading this and don’t know what animal bracelets are, they are the colorful animal or theme shaped rubber bands that you see many kids and adults wearing as wristbands now. They look like normal rubber bands while you’re wearing them but they morph into animal shapes when you take them off your wrist.
Here’s a quick and easy way to make your animal bracelets glow in the dark whenever you want. All you need is an animal or theme shaped rubber band and a flashlight, lamp or anything else that can be used as a source of direct light.
First make sure that you really have glow in the dark animal rubber bands. There are several kinds of animal bracelets being sold but not all of them have the ability to glow in the dark. All the zany bandz rubber bands glow in the dark. Okay, you’ve made sure you have the right kind of animal bands. Now all you need is a flashlight or some source of bright light.
Hold the flashlight over your animal bands for about one minute. This will energize the glow in the dark elements of the bands. After about 60 seconds your bands will have absorbed all the energy they need to glow in the dark.
You can cover them up with your hands to see them glow or step into a closet or dark space if you’re doing this during the daytime.
Of course if you wear your animal bracelets all day and they get sunlight during the day, they will automatically glow at night because they’ve been energized all day.
For instance there was a young girl that wore her glow in the dark animal rubber bands to a planetarium in Dallas. When the tour guide turned off the lights so eveyone could see the stars, the little girl’s arms started to glow! Needless to say, all the kids that were there started whispering and asking her where she bought them. It seems that glowing in dark has it’s priveleges!

The Chinese new year is upon us. What does that have to do with animal rubber bands? Absolutely nothing. I was just thinking, as I rarely do, about what animal will represent the Chinese New Year this year. After extensive research (typing the phrase “Chinese new year” into my Google search bar) I came up with the Tiger. It is the year of the tiger. That’s cool. For me it’s the year of the Lady Bug. Lucy the Lady bug to be exact. Lady bugs bring you good luck. At least that’s what I’ve heard. You can find Lucy the Lady Bug in the popular Zany Bandz Bugz & Beez animal rubber bands pack. Planetarium Visitors Amazed by Glow in The Dark Animal Rubber Bands

I heard today while talking with a friend in the Dallas area. It seems a young girl visiting the local planetarium became an instant celebrity when the lights went out. As soon as the tour guide turned out the lights the zany bandz glow in the dark rubber bands she was wearing did exactly that. They started to glow in the dark.
All the kids noticed and started asking her what they were and where she got them. She was the coolest kid in the planetarium!

Why Animal Rubber Bands Are All the Rage This Year

Animal rubber bands are everywhere. Depending on where you live, it may seem like you cannot go anywhere without seeing these colorful, animal bracelets on the arms of everyone from little kids to adults.
Animal bracelets have been around since 2002 but did not really take off as a hot accessory until late 2009. That is when kids in Birmingham, AL began snatching them off store shelves like they were the only thing needed to survive in the world. They had to have them.
The animal rubber band craze has not slowed down by any means. In fact it is spreading across the United States like a wild fire. Why?
• They are fun, colorful silicone wristbands that snap back into animal shapes when you take them off
• They are cheap. You can get a pack of 24 of them for fewer than five bucks.
• Kids can wear them, share them, trade or collect them all day long.
• Manufacturers are coming out with new shapes every month making it all most impossible to collect them all.
It is hard to believe that something as simple as a colorful animal shaped rubber band could make such a huge impact on kids but with the state of the economy today, where money is getting harder to come by, parents have found a winner with animal rubber bands. If it makes your kids happy and popular at school and costs less than a new CD or iPod why would you not grab a few packs?
Adults are getting in on the fun as well. Animal rubber bands are beginning to show up in offices around the country and rightfully so. Who could not use a little amusement at work? Life gets more than a little boring when you are living it from a grey, carpeted cubicle all day every day.
