Why Would Anyone Want Animal Rubber Bands?

Why Would Anyone Want Animal Rubber Bands?

by Myrna J. Smith

Probably anyone who has seen these cute, brightly colored animal rubber bands will want at least one package. Though they are advertised for kids over 3 years old, it would seem very likely that they may make it to the desks of at least a few executives with a sense of humor.

Why would anyone want a big pack of animal shaped silicone bands? Nobody can really say for certain. But, lots of kids are collecting them, trading them, and using them as jewelery. They stretch to fit arms and legs really well, and wearing a whole row of them looks pretty cool.

These new bands are available to collect in several different animal series. You can find many different collections featuring favorite animals such as cats, dogs, turtles, bunnies, ducks, and pigs in lively colors. These are very popular collectibles, and each time a new animal groups shows up on the market, collectors snap them up, too.

Another animal series features zoo animals. The animals also come in bright, collectible colors. This series includes hippos, giraffes, ostriches, elephants, rhinos, and kangaroos. Some kid collectors wear these stretchable zoo animals on their wrists and ankles. The silicone material stretches to fit just about any arm or leg. Once you take them off, they bounce right into their original shape.

Kids who love sea creatures can find these fairly easily. What seems interesting about all of the animals is that adult office workers have taken to using the cute bands as office supplies in place of traditional rubber bands.

Actually, office workers have been caught using the little animals to flip at their fellow workers. Though this function is not at all suggested, you may imagine how much fun some people are having these days at work. They must be masters at clean up after play time is over.

No matter how you choose to use these rubber bands, they are definitely handy. You may use the bands again and again. Because the silicone bands last a long time, the product is not discarded casually or harmful to the environment.

Because the bands stretch so readily, they are very useful for wrapping small presents. They may be used to secure snack or treat bags and become part of the gift. They also work well wrapped around lunch sacks. Whatever use a traditional rubber band may have will also be a use for the new silicone bands.

Children under three years old must not be allowed to play with the bands, however. The bands represent a risk of hazard for them. Families with young children should avoid the bands until their children are older. But for older youth and adults, this clearly stated warning will be remembered. Regardless of this concern, the developers believe that the colorful animal rubber bands will be a useful and fun addition to offices everywhere. The collecting craze has already begun, and the animals are popping up everywhere, so it seems they are on the right track.

Cute, multi-coloured animal rubber bands are super fashionable for both guys and gals. Get the super inside skinny on animal bracelets now in our fab online bracelet overview.

What There Is To Know About Animal Rubber Bands

What There Is To Know About Animal Rubber Bands

What there is to know about animal rubber bands and the latest craze among kids, teenagers and some adults, are a few interesting facts that better explain what makes them such a popular item. The concept of wearing regular rubber bands on the wrist has been around for a long time, but usually to make sure they didn’t get lost or misplaced. Losing this type would not exactly be a great loss, as they are relatively cheap, shapeless, brown and rather boring. They certainly give nothing to brag about, much less give motivation to show them off and make trades with friends.

For a short period of time now, the “new and improved” rubber band has been on the market and they are popular among many crowds. They are made from of silicone and die cast in many different shapes, such as sports, letters of the alphabet and even mystical shapes! The animal rubber bands are especially popular because of the respect and love people have for the different species and include turtles, elephants, giraffes and the rhinoceros, to name a few. Two other categories are animals of the sea as well as household pets most everyone has.

When not being worn around the wrist as a bracelet, these special bands return to their original condition, revealing the specific animal or shape being worn. It doesn’t matter how much they are stretched, because they will always keep their fun contour. Many enjoy mixing and wearing several different shaped bands all at the same time to create interest and contrast.

Not only is there versatility in shape, but also in color. One pack consists of 24 rubber bands. Colors are mixed within each package and come in every hue imaginable, such as red, blue, green, yellow, brown, pink, orange and so on. The unique bands are also available in bright, neon colors as well as glow in the dark and glitter. There is no doubt that anybody would be able to find the perfect shape and color for themselves.

These rubber bands are unusually entertaining in the fact that they are meant to be shared with friends and family. This is one of the reasons for their increasing popularity and gives all ages something to have in common with those they love and care about. One can show off their prized bands by removing them from the wrist and laying them flat on a table or other surface so their shape can be seen. When a friend does the same, they can trade one of their own shapes for a completely different one.

Perfect for sharing and giving away, these bands make a wonderful addition to a birthday present or simply to give out as party favors to guests. They would be great to use in classes for younger children, to hand out after a lesson as a reminder of what was taught on a particular day. Grandchildren will have fun sharing one of their favorite shapes with a Grandparent, so they will be thought of often when away from one another. The ideas are endless when it comes to buying these for wearing, sharing, collecting or trading.

Store Owners Stocking Their Zanybandz Animal Rubber Bands Display

Because of their popularity and affordability, kids everywhere are buying and collecting them. This creates a good problem with the manufacturer, as they have a product in great demand that may be difficult to keep up with. Further, this gives greater reason and opportunity to expand fabrication abilities. Stores that buy directly from the manufacturer may find it difficult to replenish their stock when they have sold out, but are able to be placed on a waiting list for the next available shipment.

The ingenious idea of animal rubber bands is sure to be around for quite some time and is not likely to fade away anytime soon. This is great news for those who have made it a goal to continue wearing, sharing and trading them. Old ones can continue to be recycled continuously, while new ones are being made and distributed to others who may not be familiar with the idea. It sometimes takes time for a novelty, such as this, to become familiar to everyone, but is sure to continue giving enjoyment and smiles to those who are reached.

Lucy the Lady Bug

According to credible sources who asked to remain anonymous to conceal, thus not reveal their identity… huh?

The Chinese new year is upon us.  What does that have to do with animal rubber bands? Absolutely nothing.  I was just thinking, as I rarely do, about what animal will represent the Chinese New Year this year.  After extensive research (typing the phrase “Chinese new year” into my Google search bar) I came up with the Tiger.  It is the year of the tiger.  That’s cool.  For me it’s the year of  the Lady Bug.  Lucy the Lady bug to be exact.  Lady bugs bring you good luck.  At least that’s what I’ve heard.  You can find Lucy the Lady Bug in the popular Zany Bandz Bugz & Beez animal rubber bands pack.  I hope she brings you good luck too.

All the kids noticed and started asking her what they were and where she got them.   She was the coolest kid in the planetarium!
